have been using Google voice for 1 yr since i moved.

If you still have bank account or other US base services, better to keep the US #, and add a local Thai # on the same phone.

If travel back to US just buy a temp sim card for US only say 2 weeks just for internet and as long as u have internet service ur google voice will work.

This is something that i really dont understand and annoy by it.

If a person is asking a question that has been answered 16 times or 1600 times. Those people that are so annoyed by it would not just skip it, but no they rather take the time to reply with some stupid and disrespectful answers. Whats up with that?

Airline and immigration is 2 different departments. Airline only care if u have the visa so they let u fly.

@ bkk area the appointment queue is quite long, last i check bang chak DLT next appointment is feb 2025.

Wouldn't pay a agent cus they charge 3500B for it but the license cost only 205B for car, and u still need to be there in the queue. They have a special counter just for foreigner.

You will need certificate of residence, health cert. Copy of passport, copy of yr country driver license all need to be in English. Make multiple copys.

For me i get all docs went there and they make a appointment just before my cert expire, so i went there a 2nd time to finally get the license.

Go to AIS shop with passport for long term plan if stay here for long time.

Monthly plan as low as 500B per month.

yes in extreme situation and where chamber is not available doing a extended deco stop could help. Thats what was tought when i was in commercial diving school many yrs ago.
