We applied for our daughter to be a dependent on our DVTs. As part of the application we provided screenshots of both the mother and father’s DTV.
On our daughter’s DTV it only has the father’s name. Does this means she MUST be with the father every time she enters the country?
My wife was hoping to maybe take her on a few trips with just the two of them, but we’re now worried this won’t be an option as she’ll need me (father) to be present every time she’s entering.
Seeing conflicting information while waiting for DTV to be approved.
On one hand, you are supposed to be in the country the entire time where you submit the application until the DTV is approved. On the other hand, I read that someone submitted the application in US and then travel to Thailand before approval using the standard 60 days tourist visa and then his/her DTV was approved while in Thailand.
Can I submit the application in US, travel to Thailand and wait for approval there?
I have 2 uk passports, different numbers on them, and yes totally legit.
I have a dvt visa on passport number 1, but must send passport number 2 to the Chinese embassy for a visa there.
So my problem will be in February when I fly in, which passport to use, if I use number 1 then when I leave in March for China I must show the check in clerk passport 2 with the Chinese visa but show passport 1 to immigration
If I fly in using passport 2 then will they be able to know I have a visa and another passport and ask why I’m not using this.
Many immigration don’t know the rules allowing me 2 passports and can’t afford to have 1 confiscated.
TM30 advice please, my wife will report me in as it’s her house when we get back to khorat next month, if we go to Pattaya for a week does she have to report again to khorat immigration, thanks
Non Immigrant O-A Visa, arrived 7/19/22 from home country USA. Medical exam, medical certificate, FBI check, the whole gamut.
Ive heard that just prior to my expiration (7/18/23) I can leave the country for at least 48 hours, and return 2-3 days prior to my expiration, and get newly stamped for full year again.
Would like some clarification on this please. Thanks in advance.
