Take a trip down to Bangkok or Pattaya for a few days and get yourself an agent and they can do it same day for small fee with Bangkok Bank and Bangkok Bank is everywhere in the country so you'd be covered

Many many wrong answers here. Correct answer is "it depends" or "depends on your luck". Bottom line, you legally must be able to show you're leaving Thailand within the stamp period, 30 days.
