We lived in Turkey for 8 months .. 3.months visa issued upon entry..it is cheap for sure but once you live there and start paying in tl you can also feel the bite of the low value of the tl and hear locals complaining that life is expensive..however, it all depends on how you look at it. Since we were dependent on our dollars we really enjoyed our time in Turkiye and almost.lives there permanently planning to buy an apartment until we discovered how tricky real estate agents are and the process of transferring the ownership ..so we left after 8 months but still go back once in a while for a short stays..turkiye will always be one of my favourite places to live if immigration rules are more friendlier in the future.
we are renting a 3 bedroom 2.full bath and guest toilet, 2 storey house in Sansai with good security and management for 15k a month plus utilities. This is the ongoing rent in this area
Pinoy food is not bland we just don't use a lot of spices..MSG is the name! Although i don't eat out often as I don't use msg. We speak better English and easier to find someone who can speak English..you don't need to learn Tagalog to communicate ..there's always good and bad anywhere you go..it's up to you to decipher ..
