I live in Canada but I have lived in Thailand for two years, and now I need Thailand police clearance. How can I get one? Any advice and suggestions please? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a police clearance certificate from Thailand while living in Canada, you need to follow these steps: Download the required forms from the Thai consulate or embassy's website and complete them. Get your fingerprints taken by a recognized provider, such as the RCMP or a commissionaire. Note that local police may not provide fingerprint services. Once you have the completed forms and fingerprints, send them to the Thai police in Bangkok. For faster processing, use a courier service. Pay any required fees directly to the Thai police as indicated on their website.
For ur info: I have already downloaded all the forms and filled them. But the problem is fingerprint to be taken under whom? Local police does not take it. :((
You can download the police clearance documents from the Thai Consulate site in Vancouver or the Embassy in Ottawa. Fill out the forms and go to a commissionaire to have your signature validated and your fingerprints taken for the form. Pay the extra and they will send it back priority. You pay all the fees online. Just read and follow the instructions carefully, they're a bit confusing.
thanks John for sharing your info. I live in Toronto. Thailand embassy highlight on its website it does not follow up with police clearance certificate and applicant needs to refer to Thai police for this. So I am not sure if Thai consulate can take finger print on Thai forms.
You can download the forms from the Embassy site. They don’t do the fingerprinting. You have to go to the RCMP or a commissionaire. You can find them online and make an appointment. They do these all the time so they will know how to fill out the forms correctly. You pay for it online and send the forms to the Thai police in Bangkok. Use a courier service or it will take months instead of weeks. Pay the premium and they will mail it back priority. I think it took about a month end to end.
thanks. I already collected ink finger prints from rcmp registered provider… now I need to submit these form with supporting document to Thailand police center but I do not know to whom I pay the premium ? How is it done I have no idea.DHL and FedEx do not have self address prepaid envelope so that Thailand pcc certificate is send through them. This part is really confusing! Can u please share your experience? Thanks in advance.
one thing I am sure is that the office in Scarborough..I used to run a nanny agency in Ontario and when it's time for my caregivers to apply for their pr status police clearance and fingerprints from the Philippines are required. That's where I take them for these.procedures and even their medical checks for immigration purposes .
thanks. I visited local police station, they said they do not do this. They recommended to visit registered fingerprint service providers to do this for you. Now not sure if the stamp of such service providers would be acceptable for Thailand police… :(((
