Anonymous participant well I have a Wise account and that gives me a UK account number with a sort code and a debit card if I want it. So it's a bank as far as I can see. And as you say they also pay interest. So it's pretty much a bank

Isn't Wise a bank account? I know it's a transfer service but you can if you wish have money in the account for any length of time

No. You have to end your O visa before applying

Anonymous participant there are plenty of condos available in Bangkok, that's for sure

maybe they just want people here spending money , in Bangkok alone there are over 100,000 condos sitting empty. Whilst the group may be very busy the reality is there are probably less than 100 a day arriving on a DTV. They may introduce checks in the future but for now they just want more people in country
