Hope this question is relevant for the group otherwise the admin can remove my post. My thai girlfriend and I have applied and an approval for marriage in Denmark specifically for the next vacation visit this year. However we want to postpone half a year but at the same time worrying that this will effect her visa next time she applies at the danish embassy in Bkk in terms of maybe a quarantine or similar? now that authorities presumably know about our wedding plans

Hi, I’m assisting a friend apply for his Thailand Pass. He has only had one vaccine so will need to do a PCR test within 72 hrs of arrival. When applying for the Thailand Pass I can’t seem to get any further after filling in the details of his one vaccine. Any advice out there from someone who has applied for the Thailand Pass without being fully vaccine since the new changes came in? Thanks

Now that theres no Pre-Flight PCR, I wondered what happens if there is a positive testing person found after arrival who was seated near you, or just on the same plane. Are people traced and quarantined in their various Test and Go hotels

The only purpose of day 5 test is scamming tourists and ruining their vacation.

You do a test 3 days before you arrive here and another one in the airport, both come back negative. You do another one in day 5, it comes back positive, and they think you brought the virus with you from your country or airplane!!

If you test positive in day 5. The greater odds are you caught it here in Thailand.

And if you catch it here from someone already roaming freely why on earth only new tourists have to quarantine?

Luckily I came here for long stay so it doesn't bother me that much but in the next room people who came here for 2 weeks with their family and now have to spend the rest of their vacation in quarantine!

We all took the risk to come here knowing this can happen. But most of us(Me included) wishfully think it's probably not gonna happen to us. But really, if you're not prepared for the worst it's better to wait until this nonsense is over. if you have to come during this time my advice to you is to be extremely careful until you get your second test results and avoid bars and crowded places at all cost.

Advice please: I tested Covid + Jan 1/22. I am now non-symptomatic, but have been told I could test + again for 3-4 months. Can I enter Thailand despite testing + on Jan 1? Thanks for any advice🙏

Attention members:

Yes, the PM announced tonight that quarantine for some nationalities (vaccinated people) would be dropped November 1st.

Yes, the PM, or a Governor, or a minister has announced this atleast once a month for the past 15 months and it has yet to happen. Lets not forget October 1st, then October 15th, and Now November 1st.

No, we will not be approving any of the 300 incoming posts over the next 48 hours of people asking if "quarantine has really been dropped for vaccine people Nov 1st????"

Just watch and see what happens.
