Be aware that this site is for owners where they register their tenants/guests. You can‘t register yourself without ID card and housebook of the owner.

well everywhere I‘ve checked in, they always asked for an ID. And I always gave my Thai drivers licence where my permament address is given, I was told this would be best to do, obviously it wasn‘t the solution either.

Lucky you. Everybody keeps telling me that, they even report from outside their "resident" province while staying at a hotel. I have a permanent tm30 as well. Are you also living in a house or condo in longterm rental status?

thanks. I have copies of her ID and tabien baan (its attached on the contract) as I need it in case of yearly extension anyway.

the same, just don‘t play in public, then its ok.

I would say yes. But I never walk around with my passport in my pocket or bag. I leave it at home, have only pictures of it on my phone.

But only if you did not spend some holidays in another accomodation where they made a TM30 within the 90 days. 😉
