With regard to the non o visa extension and the evidence required for a bank balance in excess of thb 800,000 for more than 60 days prior, is an updated bank book sufficient or does one need a full printed bank statement? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a Non-O visa extension in Thailand, you must provide proof of a bank balance exceeding THB 800,000 for more than 2 calendar months prior to your application. The required documents typically include a bank letter confirming the current balance, a comprehensive bank statement showing transactions since account opening or visa issuance, and an updated bank book with recent transactions, including a transaction from the application day. It's advisable to consult with your local immigration office for a detailed list of required documents, as requirements may vary by province.

90 day reports are nothing to do with visa extensions. Normally you do an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp in your passport. Is this your 1st extension?

Yes. Thanks, that’s helpful.

then you are not due to do a 90 day report yet anyway, as you'renot on a stamp that allows you to stay longer than 90 days. When they return your passport with the extension stamped in there should be a small slip in the back with the date you need to do your first 90 day report.

Yes, I understand that. I was referring to the requirements for initial extension of one year. Thanks again.

You need 1. Bank letter to confirm the current money of 800k + 2. Bank statement from the past months since opening acc. or visa issued. 3. Updated bank book with a transaction made same day when applying extension and copies of of all pages from bank book as well.

Best is to go to immigration and get the detailed list of all needed documents for EoS based on non O visa. It could vary from province

Also, how close to my 90 day check in does it need to be. I’m about 3 weeks before. Is that too soon?

yes. Depending on the immigration, the statement should be less than 1 week old.
