You need a copy of the TM30 your landlord filed when you arrived at his property.

It is always the responsability of the landlord to make the TM30, not you.

That also means you have no need to get his ID, so he is right to deny you getting his ID

You cant put any trust in those "status" messages, they can chance both ways and give you no clou whatsoever about how long your application is in the proces.

Read the Embassy website for the average processing time.

Have you entered any departure date, then some Embassies would proces by the departure date rather than the application date, and the visa will come in the last days before departure.

You are breaking the terms in the number 2:

The DTV is not a non-immigrant visa, so you are breaking the rules by stating you have a non-immigrant visa.

Do never spread illegal ways to circumvent Thai laws and rules, in this group.

Most Embassies emphasize very strongly that errors in the Passport data, has to be absolutly correct, as they are written in the machinereadable field at the bottom of the picturepage of the passport, and that errors can not be corrected, neither by the applicant not the Embassy staff, and error will result in rejection and loss of the visafee.

Also they inform there will be given no explanation of the rejection.

That’s one of the reasons why, it is so important to read the Embassy website thoroughly.

With ED you have to study fulltime, and attend classes, pass tests, so you have to stay at the same adress for the duration of the study.

Before it was the most misused visa, so Immigration Officers would lift a eyebrow and be on full alert when they see a ED visa.

Think about the reason why there has to be a 500.000 Baht deposit !

If you get involved in a accident, get ill, get fines, financial disputes, pay for Airplane ticket out of Thailand etc. then you should be able to pay for yourself immidiately with money from the deposit, because Thailand is feed up with people not able to / want to pay their own expenses, when they stay in Thailand.

That was the reason for the deposit, as discussed before the DTV came into effect.

That’s also why the deposit should be immidiatly accessable and not in crypto, stocks or what ever.

So it would be the best not to touch the majority of the deposit, you may suddenly need them , and the Thai authorities will expect you to have them avaiable.

Just buy a changeable ticket, problem solved.

No DTV is not a long term visa, no matter how many times you say it, you will only convince yourself.

You will never get resident status on a DTV, only on non-xxxx

The Thai authorities will regard you as a tourist, for as long as you are using a DTV.
