Hi Brandon. Just to clearly, we’re assuming they received their 90 day non-O visa from their home country embassy, correct? Applying for it once already in Thailand requires an established bank account with the required funds. Please correct me if I’m mistaken.

Thanks for the reply. From my experience, the DC embassy is quite particular with regards to accurate, excessive documents. I’ve read from other members that their embassy seems more lenient. Congrats on your approval. Btw, how much is the cost here?

Hello. I’m from the DC area. For remote worker, other than work contact you said they requested tax return, letter and paystub? Could you please elaborate. Thanks

Is that a fact? So after 90 consecutive days someone on a DTV will need to goto immigration to do their reporting. Do they require a TM30?

If they’d only get rid of the 90 day reporting for retirement visa. DVT doesn’t require as far as I know.

I’ve had great experience with Krungsri. Much shorter lines than other banks, app works great and I can use my bank card at any ATM in Thailand without a fee.

Ok cool, thanks. Were there any questions pertaining to your work or contract? Any other proof they needed?

Good for you bro. Can you explain what they needed to show that you work remotely or work freelance?

Have they informed if 90 day reporting is necessary as with all visas exceeding 90 consecutive days?
