You can get your finger prints done at a local police station for a bit of tea money and a polite ask. I got mine done as part of my police clearance application made from my local police station. I walked away same day with copies of my fingerprints and was told to wait 3 months for processing in Bangkok. (Although I got a fax/copy of my clearance after four weeks). So.. if they are only asking for fingerprints the local police station will do.

If you bounce prior to the expiration date on your non imm b multi you get an extra 90 days. Mine was mid Nov, but I’m now stamped in to mid Feb (I bounced just before) I was just wondering if that would pose any issue when applying for an extension to stay. Or should it have been done prior to mid Nov.

And tax records can be shown, but at a lower rate. I’m wondering if 40k has to be shown for a certain amount of time.

if you read between the lines you’ll see the politics there. Everyone has quotas to meet. The reality is that you can’t drop your guard.

A voluntary hand-in, which stands you on good stead as far as the penalty (length of ban/fine) goes. Problem was there was a ‘mix’ up in the paperwork and he got a five year ban for an eight month overstay. His employer could not provide his passport.

14 days in the local police station then Shipped up to the IDC in Bangkok. Zero funds. About 10 days there before flight to the UK.

yes important to not get the two confused. If you have a non b single then 99% of the time you should have a plan to follow on.. as I outlined above. That’s what non b singles are for..
