. Thais extort Thais all the time !!! Cops all over Thailand get bribes off thai motorists .. my thai step daughter had to bribe the school principal to get her job !! Thai jobs in government often come after a bribe is paid ….. u really don’t know Thailand !

Forget about a lawyer..u will just lose a good amount of money… u r at the mercy of the family as u have no legal right to the home. Can you stay living with the daughter and pay some rent ?

Thai school teachers , public servants, cops , citizens pay bribes in Thailand for jobs , promotions , avoiding trouble , staying out of jail etc…Bribery in Thailand is part of the culture and always will be.
