I have imported a 20 foot shipping container full of personal effects from Brunei to Thailand with Asian Tigers, 17k baht customs. My complete toolbox from Nigeria, 5000 USD thanks to DHL which my company paid, plus another box of personal effects by DHL which I got caned on so I do have a small amount of knowledge on it which I am happy to share. Like I said, use Asian Tigers.

Contact Asian Tigers import company. Do not use DHL or you will get ripped off on customs.

the online system works very well though, with Kasikorn you can access statements, online banking etc with no hassle. It's only when you walk through the door the fun starts

Recommend open your account where you live permanently. My bank is up country, bank book is full, local bank won't renew it, says I have to go to home branch. Bonkers crazy but TIT.

Load IviewHD app onto it. Pay the 120 dollars for annual subscription and you will have all UK TV plus 1000s of movies and series. I have it and swear by it.
