TLDR : Answer Summary
An Aussie traveler and their Thai partner inquired about booking a double room at a SHA+ hotel for their first night in Thailand. The consensus from responses indicates that they can book a room together, provided that both names are included in the hotel booking.

I recommend Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 for your hotel accommodation😊

They offer instant confirmation and it's a great central location for many things.

You can book a room together as long as both names are shown on the hotel booking.
