i give them every single document they asked for ( My work is real and all documents are original ) and got approved without interview and also when i arrived to Bangkok i told the officer i have DTV, then the first question was ( where dud you get the DTV? ) i said Dubai then he stamp my passport 180 days No question asked
they need portfolio, official letter signed and stamp indicates i can work remotely in Thailand with full details about my job, vision and mission of the company, commercial licensed, commercial registration, tenancy contract, round flight tickets fully paid directly with the airlines ( tourist agency booking NOT acceptable ) hotel booking or accommodation in Thailand for at least one month , i know it's creazy but DTV is harder than i thought
I'm not sure about Abu Dhabi ! also one of the things they asked for my current location they want a screen shots for my entries and exits records from the app , i have Emirates passport I'm not sure if this applies for expats
oh boy Dubai very very very difficult i gat my DTV via the thai embassy in Dubai after 2 weeks and they ask alot of additional documents ( digital bank statements NOT eligible for DTV ) you need to go to the bank by your self and get a statement from the bank stamp in each page
i have a friend got denied because he was photographer as far as i understand the the embassy had thoughts he will be working as freelance photographer with thai companies or with individuals and get paid with cash so he got rejected
