yeah these were prices for Bangkok , I know if you go to Pattaya they will be cheaper. But a side note Siam legal said they can open your choice of bank account. Also the thing is as well it’s only $700 aud. ( yeah it’s a lot ) but it last for ever. Considering the DTV visa just cost me 600 for 5 years it isn’t to bad

also , the VOA is a full page in your passport , e visa a small sticker I would highly recommend the e visa , as it saves heaps of time lining up when you arrive. Depending on the time of the day there can be 50 people lining up for visa on arrival. But e visa has 1 or 2 dedicated lines in Vientiane it’s pretty quick ( we’ll worth the 12$)
