Question: Please go easy on me people.

I'm applying in Malaysia as an American. The application asks for city of birth. My passport has the state I was born in not the city. Would you put both the city and the state? Or only the city? I would imagine all the relevant info is in their computer system. I don't want to F this up and be rejected. Your help is appreciated.

I have a border bounce coming up shortly. Phuket to KL return same day. On arrival at KL Airport is it advisable to get stamped in then stamped out again or is it ok to just exit the aircraft on arrival into KL, look for the gate of the departure flight back to Phuket and just go to that departure gate and wait thus bypassing their onerous Immigration. TIA.👌

(US Pp holder, coming off 5 years' extensions of Non-Imm M visa) There have been mentions of a few points that I cannot find addressed on the Penang consulate website: 1)That Malaysia was shutting down tourist entries until 30 or 31 Mar. 2) Health certificate. If I am coming from Thailand can it be from a Thai hospital? How long before applying does the date of the certificate have to be? 3) What about the field on the application that asks for guarantor? Who can this be? As always, thanks

Regarding tourist visa application in Malaysia. It states that a flight confirmation is required but it also states that using your personal vehicle is an option if you provide a copy of the registration and ID card of the owner. Is this a viable option if we use our friends car?
