Hi I’m interested in applying for the DTV visa for Thailand and wanted to ask who can help me with the process and how much it usually costs.
I’m looking for a trustworthy person or agency to work with — would really appreciate any recommendations.
Thank you so much🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa application process can be managed either by yourself or with the help of an agency. Recommendations for trustworthy agencies include Siam Legal and Cookventure Home Cooking Studio in Chiang Mai, which supports the DTV visa application. However, many users suggest that it’s feasible to apply independently by gathering necessary documents as the application is submitted overseas. Costs may vary based on the agency chosen and specific requirements, but doing it yourself may save money.
Our cooking school, Cookventure Home Cooking Studio, is officially recognized to support the DTV visa. We also have a team who can assist with the application process if you’re interested. You’re always welcome to join us in Chiang Mai!
You should do everything yourself as you are supposed to do, it is easy if you concentrate about 1 specific Embassy and the requirements of that specific embassy only, and only do your research at trustworthy sources, such as the Embassy and the manual in top left corner of the e-visa website.
If you can’t take control of you new way of life that way, then you shouldn’t apply.
Agents can not submit the application for you, since it has to be done by you being physically in a country outside of Thailand during the whole visa processing time.
Do it your self , you basically have to get all the documents anyway…. There is no “cheat code” to this visa …. Agency’s can’t “pull” strings at immigration since it’s done completely offshore
