Proof of 500k: Proof of balance( from commbank) showing $31,000 AUD 699k THB (not a bank statement) dated as of the day before application.

Some of you with a keen eye will notice a mistake I made 😂 ( I choose Sydney consulate as I started the application thinking I would have to go to there to receive a sticker and Sydney was a better option this was before I learnt that everything was online) but technically I should have applied via the Canberra embassy (because I’m Western Australian)

Additional documents requested.

Verification letter from my company allowing remote work.

About me ,I am Australian I work for an international mining machine company working loosely on a 6 weeks on 3 weeks off roster (excluding holidays) travelling around south east Asia (international FIFO) and base my self in Thailand. The company and office I work for are based in Indonesia (but the business group is global)

I know a lot of people would probably say that with those days in country that i could just continue on exempt entry and you are quietly right to think that, but I decided to apply for this because recently on a few entry’s I’ve began to receive more and more questions on arrival , so I decided to apply for this for some extra security as I don’t want to end up landing and being told to go back where I come from.

I wish everyone else success on their applications , and feel free to drop a comment if you have any questions.

Yeah a couple of pals coming up from Singapore on a monthly basis using exemption were told to get visas next time. They were on long term passes or PR in Singapore. You are doing the right thing with DTV.
