Hope you enjoy your time. Personally I thought Hua hin was too sedate and quiet. A lot of older tourists. My Thai gf is 48 and I think I’m a young 61. We’re considering bkk and pattaya (not bar scene) for retirement. Have fun.
I find this extremely hard to believe. In one place it says 30 days in a month. Plus if you’re gone for 30 days, your benefits are cut off. There are seniors that travel abroad for more time than that all the time. I’d bet 0.0% of them notify social security if that and social security doesn’t know..
Coming from a country where we allowed millions of unvetted illegals to enter, receive full benefits including legal to delay deportation without any investigation into their backgrounds or ability to support themselves, I’m 100% in support of Thailand vetting every single foreigner.
I’m honestly shocked they paid at all. I wonder if they’ll come back later and ask the refund from you. United doesn’t want to pay claims for visits to hospitals in the US that they’re in network with let alone visits outside the country. But otherwise, good for you.
