My gf in Bangkok does this type of work. She’s been helping Thais get tourist/work/marriage/fiancée visas to other countries for a number of years. Dm me and I can put you in touch with her.

I think there will be UK and France visa Facebook groups to help you with this. I personally would not ask someone in Thailand for help completing the process for a different country (I have seen many complaints from people making that mistake). There's no way of bribing an official to get the outcome that you want, it's a case of reading the instructions and providing the evidence requested in the order they list. If your girlfriend cannot provide the evidence, she will not get the visa. Good luck.

A tourist visa to visit UK is surprisingly difficult to get for a Thai. The minimum is she will need a bank account in her name showing sufficient funds to support herself during the stay. In addition to this she may be required to show she has permanent ties to Thailand, ie proof of ownership of property in Thailand. A job or business in her name. If visiting you or with you you may also have to evidence your relationship.

I know this sounds excessive but that is my experience of trying to get a tourist visa for my partner to visit the UK for a two week holiday.

After she makes her application online she will need to take all of her documents and proofs to an approved biometric centre in BKK for them to photograph fingerprint her and then copy and scan her documents.

My wife got her UK visa without funds in her name (I was sponsoring her) or ownership of property or a business or employer. It can be done without and depends on the responses to the requirements.

do you see the difference between myself and the OP as opposed to your situation? No??

Your wife whom you are married to …. and OP girlfriend and my partner. Neither of us are married. I’m glad your wife was able to get a tourist visa without jumping through the hoops that we have to jump through.

I showed uk visa applications my Thai retirement visa , evidenced my relationship and swore an affidavit in support of the application, I am also a UK solicitor. I exhibited my bank accounts showing ample funds. The refusal letter stated that the applicant , my partner, needed to have their own funds in a Thai bank account AND show ownership or long term tenancy of a Thai property in their own name before a visa would be granted.

I took my GF to the UK without showing her bank account all you have to say is you will sponsor her visit and show your income, we done it ourselves without any problems luckily she had a daughter who's father took her to America while my gf was in the UK so she could prove she had to return to Thailand .Also book the flights so you can prove she is going to return there are websites that allow you to book the flights without paying for them.

I appreciate your experience but I did all of that and was told they needed a bank account in their name with funds to support them and they needed a long term tenancy or proof of ownership of property in Thailand. I suppose the application just got in front of the wrong jobsworth twat at uk immigration….twice!
