On average it's 5 minutes per traveler so a group of 4 is around 10-15 minutes.

Many still arrive at the airport without it, and have to complete it there, so it's not stopping anyone from flying.

The way it works is the first minute the system will allow submission for your case it's issued to you (midnight thailand time).

If the passport number + name was entered correctly then the system shows all previous TDAC submissions.

But if you do not have the QR, or document if things are slow they may stop you before you get to the counter, so its better to just save a copy (at minimum the TDAC number, or QR).

The official TDAC form ( only allows submissions within 72 hours of your arrival in Thailand. Once you’re within that window, you can even submit after landing, directly from the airport.
