ah. Phuket was an awful place to live tbh.

Portugal retirement d7 visa is fairly easy to get. More hoops than Thailand but you can be a citizen in six years

Portugal D7 visa. Or Malaysia if you have enough for their visa.

The METV visa -

60 days then 30 day extension

60 days then leave and return before it expires for another 60 days plus 30 day extension

Switch to ED visa for one year 60 days before METV expires.

It’s the least expensive legal way to do it.

Just buy a refundable one way ticket to Dubai. I always get a refund. They are not expensive from Bkk-Dxb.

It’s a real ticket and you get your money back within a week usually.
