agree.. but if a renter signs a Lease with the 8thb per Unit.. I doubt they would have any other option.. Interesting to know what a lawyer would say about that. Personally, if I was being made to sign for inflated electric prices, I would move on to next rental prospect

I am not sure of your exact circumstances, but the normal rate for Thai electric is between 4thb-5thb per unit. Sometimes owners can charge renters up to 8thb just to suck a few more baht out of them. Immoral yes.. Illegal no.

going to Immigration prior to the application and asking them for their latest list of req’s is almost infallible.

They will have a printout of req’s so you can easily ā€˜tick’ them off as you prepare.
