Based on everything i've been reading over the past 3 or 4 months, visa's do not guarantee anything. I've read about prople being denied with a METV, because of their history of stays. So it appears people are being retroactively penalized, even though they followed the rules.

I think they realize there are long stay tourist who would like to visit for a winter season from their home countries. Not retire, not work, not for education, just behave themselves, respect the country, its laws, and its people. Just chill!
