You need to have something to do so busier places better. Jeantiem south of Pattaya , Rayongi all close to Bangkok too

You get 60 days without application. It’s circa £150 to get a 90 day visa and you can apply on line in the UK. Takes the pressure away

not sure that is true. If you first set up wise in your home country you should be able to convert in wise and return it. I did that with UK bank

Also you can get 4.5 % interest in Bangkok bank on your money
