Re: BBK Bank. Also only SAVINGS accounts can be online. Be sure & TELL THEM you want to open a Saving account with VISA ATM and online access. Don't just say open an account. Be specific with Thais, lol. We have 2 savings, online & visa debit card and 2 direct deposit of social security from usa that can Not be online or have atm cards---Social Security Rules--- for 8 years.. Withdrawal in bank in person only. Also there is a free form online BBK site you can have a Thai person sign certifying that it is you opening the account. You do not have to go to Embassy and pay for them to certify your identity & pay a fee. Take Thai person with you. Now that they are pushing Union cards, tell them NO, have to have visa, many atms for it, not for union. To save face, they may say have to order from main bank, lol. Bangkok Bank has a form online called Letter of Reference. Fill out your info and have any Thai person that knows you sign as reference. It's on BKK Bank website. 狭谷 I go to Nonthaburi. They don't add days if late, but do deduct if early. & Tod Daniels told me you lose days if do early at CW. I thought we got the full 90 even doing early (we have lived where doing CW before Nontha). I looked at old 90 day receipts and he was correct, they were stamped from day we went early. It's a 45 minute horrible :( drive each way to Nontha, but has parking at door and in/out in less than 10 minutes. :) If my online would work, I wouldn't mind if we did lose days. I always try, but just get to Pending.

. If you go after the due date, you do not get extra days. Your report is stamped 90 days from date it was due. We have gone a day late due to holiday & office closed and reports are always stamped 90 days from and including date on last report. Also your 90 day report dates do not have to match your Retirement Extension due date. The Retirement Extension is always due on the same month, day each year. It is best to go early for them in case there is a problem. You cannot go late for Extensions. If there is an issue or they ask for more info, etc, if not done by date due, you will lose your extension and have to start over.

told me about losing days when we did them early. We go in person on the day due now. I don't know if online & mail are stamped early, but it appears by mail gets stamped when sent to you as you have lost some days and have to do another report. Online never works for us. Departure card from 2009. I am curious if you lose days doing online since you have to do that early.

. When you do your 90 day reports in person, the clock starts again the day you report. If you go early, you do lose days.

I did all that or at least tried to. Lived in Dusit then & Post office there did not understand tho I gave them written Thai instructions & they Did not send to CW registered either time so I couldn't track.. Grocery shopped at The Avenue near CW Imm anyway so went in person to report last day due since nearby anyway. We live in Nontha now.
