TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the limitations faced by expats in accessing immigration services in Thailand, specifically regarding the 90-day reporting process. Users express frustration about having to report to immigration offices based on their designated zones, rather than choosing a closer office, such as in Kanchanaburi instead of Nakhon Pathom. There is mention of potential services at locations like Big C, but confusion persists about the rules and locations of immigration offices. The conversation highlights the bureaucratic challenges expats face when trying to comply with Thai immigration regulations.

I read somewhere that 90-day reporting is possible again. Which browser? Anybody knows?

I did all that or at least tried to. Lived in Dusit then & Post office there did not understand tho I gave them written Thai instructions & they Did not send to CW registered either time so I couldn't track.. Grocery shopped at The Avenue near CW Imm anyway so went in person to report last day due since nearby anyway. We live in Nontha now.
remember when you mail it in use registered mail (so you can track it), mail it 15 days before your actual due date and then don't worry if you don't get the receipt back by the due date. I know people who got the receipt back almost a month after they mailed it in.
Even if you never get the receipt back and your next 90 day report is due, you can print the tracking history showing you mailed it at the correct time and it was signed for by someone at the immigration office and they won't fine you for failure to report.

I've tried that, too, twice.. Had to go to Imm as receipts not returned by due date. Finally came 2 weeks later. I just checked online----still Pending,.
Yes, I will. I check several times daily on Imm site.I got approval once on mine the last date due that had been pending for days Husbands didn't go to pending so we had to go anyway. I checked on mine before we went to Imm & still not approved so I did mine too & checked again after return home & it had been approved that afternoon. 🤨 Hoping these get approved. We haven't left Thailand since
, can you report back and let us know if they get approved? Remember they don't always send an email that they approved it. Sometimes you hafta go back and check yourself.

I did ours online Monday, 15 days before due. Both went thru but are still Pending.
, remember you can only do the 90 day online reporting from 15 days before down until 7 days BEFORE your actual due date.
On the first page, only fill in the things that have a red asterisks beside them. IF you get the contact your immigration office warning you can't use the online system
It works in I/E or with another browser that has an I/E emulator ad on

Colin Martin, unfortunately since they went to zone immigrations you have to use the immigration office that services the zone you live in. I know people in Chiang Mai who can SEE one immigration office from their apartment BUT because the way the zones are divided up there they have to drive to a office far from their place.
Ask your immigration office if you can mail it in, because a lot of places you can but some you can't.

Seems to me he want to go to what ever office he like to do what he want. And in Big C a desk from Immigration for 90 days reporting and applications Extension of Stay to make shopping more fun.

Same as in your home country. You can not go to a Government office of your choice to get your birth certificate for example.
. You're barking up the wrong tree. However good this group is, they cant change anything Thai Immigration does.
Robert *******
Computers are there to make things more easy, not to change rules. Rule is you apply for an Extension of Stay at the Immigration office of your district or for a Visa at a Consulate or Embassy. Not sure what you call a retirement visa.

We had a report here from a man on holiday in Phuket, normally residing in Pattaya. He did his 90 day report in Phuket using the hotel address without problems.

Nice for you, I had to travel to the city I was born in the Netherlands to get one. You do a 90 day report in Thailand at the Immigration office where you address is, if you are in another province you should change your address within 24 hours after arrival. Not really understand retirement, you are retired or not, Immigration does not change that.
