Totally normal to me that the bank book must have an entry of the same day. I always had to move at least 1 baht from one account to the other to get an entry of the same day.

I would go with AIS. Best network.

But I guess you stay in tourist zones, so signal strength isn’t a thing.

Go shopping for promotions at the arrival hall. All major companies have a large booth there.

I have tried.

We gave up because the teller gave us a list of things they needed and we decided that it’s not worth it 😂

She has access to my banking apps. That’s a lot easier.

Yes there is. Go to the immigration office and apply for it.

BTW. You get a “visa” when outside the country. It allows you to enter the country.

Once you’re there you can be allowed to stay longer than the stamp you got when entering.

That is called an “extension of stay”.

No. It’s not passive income.

It’s the same as a job or making money from trading stocks.

Edit: only pension, rentals or dividends are passive income.
