Not sure if they will ever be linked. But I went to my local Dept of Revenue and they treated me so well. She organised my Tax ID number and also did my online tax filing for me since my situation was so straight forward. I did not even ask for help with the filing; she just started asking a few questions and then I was all done.
Jeremy Miller hmmmm. I was preapproved for surgery and then denied after surgery and then approved again but only received ten percent of the amount. Complained again and finally they paid the amount they had agreed to pay before I scheduled my surgery. Always good to have enough funds to pay in full just in case insurance will not pay as agreed.
I hope you also have your 800,000 Thb (about 26k usd) ready to send to your Thai bank.
I am guessing you plan to land and immediately get residency letter from local immigration office so you can then hunt for Thai bank to open your account so you can deposit your 800k Thb to season for two months and then sort out your first one year extension of stay permit. Be sure to time your 12 monthly 65k Thb international deposits so that you can switch to that method if you choose to do so.
regardless of who you choose, always be sure to have plenty of savings in case your insurance (even if expensive and company is based in Germany) preapproves your surgery and then denies your claim after you have the surgery and then says they will make an exception and pay your claim and then deny your claim again.
Kevin Ganzevoort you were able to transfer funds out of Thailand bank using Wise? I did not think that worked. I thought only Dee money app or bank swift transfer worked.
Get nonO before you come to Thailand. Immediately get residency form from local immigration office and open Thai bank account and deposit 800k Thb. Be sure to ask your local immigration office the exact date you can come back to do 1 year extension of stay permit and their rules
I use Allianz global and no claims my first two years. Price keeps going up every year even if no claims and I have the 2025 usd deductible. My only chronic disease is hypothyroidism and I pay for my meds so that no issues from it.
