but they operate actually illegally in countries where are capital controls, they send money locally from some phantom accounts, and also never apply for a local license as a payment institution or so. I see it's looming that TW will stop transfers to many such destinations.

Regardless of increasing and meaningless hoops the TH immigration set up for foreigners, you obviously have no clue what to live in PH - everything of slightly reminiscent comforts will cost multiple of TH, but quality of environment- except protected prime beaches, where you will not reside anyway, is sooo low vs. TH
