TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can travel from Koh Phangan to Bangkok to catch a flight back to the United States as domestic travel is ongoing. It's crucial to verify the type of visa you hold: if it's a tourist visa, you can leave freely; if it's a Non-B or Non-O visa without an extension, you can also leave. However, if you have an extension of stay, you must cancel it before departure. Keep an eye on the changing international travel situation, as it may evolve in coming weeks.

Likely COVID-9 LEVEL 3 IN THAILAND. Which will bring even more restrictions on business, assembly and travel.

Thought I saw this before. Domestic travel is still going on as normal.

What type of visa do you have?

a. If it's a tourist visa, just leave.

b. If it's a Non-B or Non-O visa, and you haven't gotten an extension of stay, you can leave.

c. If you have an extension of stay, you need to cancel it before you go.
