 ha ha maybe 😅 thanks for the explanation that the extension begins when my initial permission to stay expires - very logical but I didn't really think about that 😔

 ohh I can't get off the hook 😊I looked again in my passport and immi did it correct. I entered June 4 and was permitted to stay to September 1 so they were right. No - the non o from my home country.

 they residence certificate - tm7 with the purpose specified - in this case opening a bank account - IS the "letter" - no additional "letters" needed.
