I’m on non o ( based on marriage ) which I’ve renewed at Chaeng Wattana without problems for the past 8 years . What issues arise please if I choose to renew it again in the 30 - 45 days before expiry , obtain the under consideration stamp and then go to the Uk for 2,weeks ( obviously I’d get a reentry permit ) but I was wondering what happens at immigration control on the return . Hopefully the under consideration stays ? And just go to Chaeng Wattana as before? Hope this made sense . Cheers .

Just got back I guess I have to update TM30 Monday any cases of giving a little more time due to crowds ???

I'm super confused I came back from a border bounce, To chiang mai, went to the new office in promenada to update my tm 30, he said I didn't have to do it only landlord. Advice? Anyone else know what he's talking about?

Hi, I just got back to Chiang Mai after doing a border run to Mae Sai for a 30 day stamp. Do I need to go to immigration here tomorrow to update my tm30?

I stayed one night in Chiang Rai last night before coming back to CM, and I assume the hotel filed a tm30 for me there, if it makes any difference?

TM 30 For your information - Went into Chiang Mai immigration today to update my TM30 after spending Saturday night in Mae Hong Son. I was told that I didn't need to update my TM30 even though I spent the night out of the province. Will this be true tomorrow - who knows.

After getting another year stamp (correct date) on our ME non-OA at MaeSai border, we went to Chiang Mai Promenada for the TM30 update. 2pm arrival upstairs. We thought the place was closed as it was so quiet. We were the only punters there! 2 minutes later we were done.

As it is our second year on this visa we went downstairs to get a ME Permit...at least 30 mins to the outside desk for a number then who knows how long inside! We left and will try the airport instead later.
