Thanks, we were married in Peru. Her passport is from there, I'm American. It's actually been an ordeal due to the current politics over there.
We have an unlegalized original copy with us but it's older than 3 months.
We've gotten another official copy withdrawn in Peru but the legalization is taking time. We figured we could just solicit a translation before it gets sent here.
haha yes, I had to go to Surat Tani from CM to close it though. I got a new under consideration stamp in November, and then closed it as well. I'm good but I need to extend again.
Thanks James, I remember reading about the guy who got called back to immigrations so that the officer could scribble it out and write "31 July" in its place so I didn't think it should be anything to really worry about. As a side note:I will be flying.
I plan to, I've been on Koh Tao where until pretty recently quarantine procedures upon reentry were very strict, and I did not want to risk spreading the virus by going to that immigration again on Samui. What I am wondering is if anyone has traveled inrerprovincially with their passport like this.
