Can you believe...I just walk into immigration here with my (full up) passport and they will give me an extension stamp on one of the endorsement pages? We shall see. Update tomorrow.

Jeremy, thanks. But even with wedging my 6'4" self into a Thai Lion or Nok seat for a 1500 thb r/t flight (which is torture for me) then throw in carfare to and from Don Muang and food, and incidentals, and I am just not getting the math. I believe that Britons refer to this as a "false economy", a term I love. Cheers!
