Apologies in advance for being thick-headed, and unable to get clarity from immigration site or CAAT bulletins. I understand that entry to the kingdom is forbidden to foreigners arriving via air until 30 June (at least) however, I can find nothing regarding foreigners arriving via road crossing. Example: If you hold a valid 60-day METV and have been in Lao for a month, are you permitted entry on June 18. Family crisis, so again, sorry if this has been asked and answered. I could not find a thread pertaining to these circumstances. Thank you

people can arrive inside Thailand if they follow the regulations of the Emergency degree. And therefor you need a special permission from the Government that shows that it essential to be inside Thailand. So contact the nearest Thai Consulate and I advice to tell your family members to contact their amphur and explain the family crisis on 18 Jun and the importance for you to be present in Thailand.
