Yup. Australia is a govt full of crap heads. All they do is abuse, hold you (citizens) down, tax the sh!t outta you and sell all your air, water, grassland, cattle stations, and mineral rights to other countries and then charge the people 10-20 times more FOR THEIR OWN RESOURCES.

Why not do this.

Stay in the hotel. Have the hotel register him. (Ask for receipt of registration of tm30 notice from hotel. Mine does this for me)

Go to immigration and ask for the extension. You can get the extension and any time after your arrival (i could in chaing mai)

I basically do this in chaing mai and had no issues at immigration.

Dont check any bags.

Too bad i did not fully understand this visa from the start. This is perfect.

Thx so far. Help my thick head to get around when the expiry date will be on the 1st year. Issue days or use by date or date of 1st entry.

Also, if i do a border bounce after the 1st year they know to give me another year? Do i need to do anything to be sure i get the year?
