Hello

My education visa expires on may 11.

What are my options? I have extended once. (May 11 will be 6 months in country).

Obviously my school is shut and i can not get them to issue me extension paperwork.

What should i plan to do?

Thanks for the insight

EDIT to add:

Thanks for the tips about contacting my school! Saved my ass.

I contacted my school. They are putting in the paperwork now to the MOE. I have plenty of time. No worries. Thanks to everyone. My day just got better.

Answer summary

The user inquired about options to extend their education visa, which is set to expire soon, given that their school is closed and unable to issue necessary paperwork. They received multiple suggestions, including reaching out to their school for help in filing paperwork with the Ministry of Education and registering with their embassy. After contacting the school, the user reported that the school is currently handling the extension paperwork, alleviating their concerns.

You can consult TSL Chiangmai, if you would like to study Thai.

IF the borders don't open up by then you should plan on getting the unable to travel due to covid-19 letter from your consulate here and then apply for the emergency extension.
