 i just read that the thai embassy in Hanoi takes only 1 to 3 business days to deliver the passeport! That is surprisingly fast!!

 but how can you predict the lenghth of the process? I mean, they ask for an entry date in Thailand... should I leave the country 2 weeks before or 3 weeks before?
