Please keep in mind that animals that are not native to this area have a very difficult time here. You have to be very cautious and keep them separated from local dogs and tics are everywhere. You have to check them throughout the day to make sure they don't have tics. We once picked up our dog from the airport here and the cage was upside down, god knows when the last time he got water. Anyway, we had to send him to go live in America as he didn't cut it out here as now the tics have left him with life long issues.
You have to renew their passports first. Then you can apply through the local embassy in your area for the family visa through Thai Child with thr Court documents and new passports. Contact the Thai embassy to see exactly what is needed as each embassy is a different

Like the website says finances....so what does that mean? How much do I need to show? Is that monthly salary, can I just show or dad has to show? Does the dad need to be there? (He is off travelling at the moment.) Does the dad need to give paper saying this okay?
The website doesn't mention housing, so does that mean I can go without a housing contract? We haven't found a house yet to our liking yet...
We have all the school papers, just these little details I want to confirm so I have no surprises. Traveling with an adhd 6 yr old and a 8 month old to loas is difficult, so I don't want to get there be fucked over :(
the school gave us paperwork and told us to go to loas. So I'm just trying to make sure my check list is the same as someone who has gone recently. Last time I got a ed visa in loas was when I was 17. I'm 37 now lol
yes I have all of that and they recommend loas. It's just I wanted to double check and make sure with someone who has done it recently...want to compare check lists.
I was referring to the treaty of amity America has with Thailand which is only for USA citizens in Thailand it was signed in 1966.... Mark commented below about it as I couldnt rememebr the treaty info. :)
