Does anyone use a temporary import for their car then leave and return? Instead of paying the 200% import tax?

UPS has notified me i need to show at 120 Years Building and register as an import agent or get an import license just to get a 2 Ib package of 40 personal single use eye drops, 2 boxes of just for men, and 2 UV BLOCKER sets of armsleeves my nephew sent me from my apartment in LA. Please, somebody who’s been though this, send the quickest most stress free method of navigating this. BESIDES Thai Customs, UPS is also trying to get paid extra in this process. I had no idea having a small box of personal provisions was gonna come to this. And if i choose to just not bother with this and walk away from less than $70 us worth of stuff, UPS’ charge is nearly $300 to “destroy” the package. You talk about a Catch-22!!! What does an Import License even cost, never mind there’s MORE steps to follow just to get this small quantity of my own personal hygiene products in hand.

I discovered I book a return ticket from Bangkok to Rome 10 days after the expiration of the ticket. What to do?

May I go straight to Bangkok airport and pay the 500 baths a day to the custom without any further formality?

Does anyone know if DTV holders can get VAT refunds at the airport - as with the tourist visa ?

Basically i ordered a phone overseas that via DHL and customs said to DHL that this requires an NBTC license, so DHL is unable to clear the item.

I asked NBTC they said can not issue an import license because this variant is not on their database. I asked to send it back NBTC said then I would need an export license.

NBTC said they can issue an export license to send to another country but DHL said no because it's stuck in customs.

I contacted my lawyer friend here and he said after making some calls that it would cost more than the item, 20K THB so not too pursue it.

I also contacted some brokers there only few said that they can clear it but with fees exceeding the price of the item.

What to do?

Hello! This might be a long-shot but would love someone's input if they knew the answer or knew someone who might know the answer!

I am opening a coffee shop and I would like a specific drink concentrate from America. I have friends coming to visit who are willing to pack it into their extra suitcase and save me $300 on shipping. However, they (or I) need to declare the goods in order to pay the import tax so that I can use it as a legitimate item and expense for my cafe. Does anyone know how to declare goods from America? And if so, does it need to be done by me or by the person who brings the items in their suitcase at the airport? If not at the airport, then where else could I declare them?

I have a situation I hope I can be helped with. I've already done 1 border run and a second 30 day extension. My visa expires Feb 17. My wife's son is getting his Visa and had his interview this past Monday. We were asked for more paperwork which is now in transit. Customs retained his passport and he was told if this paperwork is sufficient his passport along with his Visa will be returned and he would be accepted into America. The paperwork isn't the problem. reliable sources assured me that what I'm getting is more than sufficient. My issue is whether or not it will happen before Feb 17 in which case there will be no issues. My legal advisor said I should go to immigration in Chiang Mai with my paperwork from the embassy and ask for a 2 week extension so as to comply with customs and not have any troubles. She also stated that this is a familiar scenario with customs and should not be a problem. Any advice on my issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Shipping a package from the states. Has anyone shipped a pair of shoes sized box from USA? What was the cost approximately? It’s a pair of used running shoes so no value. But can’t find shoes big enough here to run in…trying to judge if it’s worth it.
