Honestly call it the embassy and ask for the department. I did that in Australia and spoke to them directly for what they wanted. Ideally before they cancel your application.

firstly, hardly anyone does the extension. Secondly, if you are not leaving the country at all you missing the point of being in south east Asia. The border bounce is fine.
