not everyone has a thai Will. I know stories of British next of kin being refused the money when no will existed. So clearly a 25k retirement visa with 775k in a UK account is much lower risk away from CORRUPT decision making.

A retirement visa is available for 25k so clearly 800k deposit in a thai bank （at risk of total loss） is unnecessary. Even if having 800k readily available indicates TO YOU the person has sufficient to live in Thailand you'd still be wrong and demonstrate your lack of understanding you plant pot! The 800k cannot be used for living expenses because the Immigration requirement is it is deposited and left untouched in a Thai bank for 5 months...two months before visa and three months after. Get up to speed with the program before critical bullshit comments.
