no I haven’t ever needed to, but my research showed that they are reliable, so I’ve used them for a few years, hopefully I’ll never need to make a claim 😊
when you arrive in Thailand, you will get a visa exemption stamp in your passport for 60 days, no charge, you can then visit immigration and extend for a further 30 days for 1,900 THB, your airline may ask for Proof Of Onward Travel within the first 60 days, check with them.
