I have a fairly new passport (may this year) and the only stamps are entry to TH, ED visa + extension. And of course by that time the Vietnam entry stamp. So many many empty pages. Do they want ALL those empty pages??

, could you list exactly which gym documents they wanted? My friend is going to HCMC in 2 weeks and I will follow in January. So we can get the gym owner to get all documents ready for us 😊

So far we have:

Cover/invitation letter

Training schedule

Invoice (6 months)

Business license

Owner ID + signature

Do we need anything else?

(Of course we will provide bank statements, passport copies, etc. I just want to know what to request from the gym owner)

They don’t do this for other visas that require a certain amount in the bank (eg retirement, marriage, LTR), so why would they do this for the DTV? Perhaps when you go get an extension, we’ll know in ~2 months. But not upon entering the country I would expect.

What do you mean by cancellation letter? You canceled the ED after getting the DTV while abroad?

I looked into Hoi An and Hue (as I’ve already been to HCMC and don’t feel like hanging around there for 5-6 days), but had underestimated the distance/travel time to there 🫣🫣

yeah a friend is going a few weeks ahead of me (we’re both doing the Muay Thai option, same gym), so she can find out exactly which documents are required from the gym and I’ll have them ready ☺️
