Is it possible to get a re-entry stamp on a 60 day TR visa (at Phuket airport)? My visa is valid until 11 July but I might have to leave for a few days/week for a family emergency.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A single entry 60-day tourist visa (TR) does not allow for a re-entry stamp. Instead, you may have to leave Thailand and upon returning, depending on your nationality, you could potentially receive a 30-day visa exemption. This 30-day period could then be extended for another 30 days at immigration. It is advisable to handle visa matters at a local immigration office rather than at the airport to avoid stress and possible complications.

Yes u can , but i suggest u to do it at local immigration office instead if the airport and save urself from the anxiety and last minute stress. Also ita better to tell them that u are going to a neighboring country for a few days

Im sure that you can, but not sure why you’d want to. It’ll cost you 1,000 baht. And you’ll be stamped in until 11th July on return. If you are from a country that allows visa exempt entry then you’d get 30 days for free on entry and you could extend that for a further 30 days.

Depending on your country if visa exempt you may get 30 days on arrival back and then extend that by 30 at immigration, as I said if your country gets the 30 days exempt
All a re-entry stamp does is keep your “allowed to stay” date alive for when the next time you arrive. The original TR visa is null and void, as it’s been used once but the reentry permit allows you back in to stay until your original stamp.
if it states single entry then it's only single entry I got caught on it. There is also tr60 multi entry which means you can come and go but it's Thailand and every io has different ideas
