i have a ton of success talking to the locals in person, and facebook marketplace. i’ve met up with locals i talked to on airbnb and they almost always want to deal in cash off of the app. also i like to stay in the touristy areas like phuket and pattaya, where they charge me differently based on high/low season. a one year contract can be handy as well
