is the verdict out on whether or not DTV holders have issues returning via Poi Pet? Wanting to know if I'll run into issues after a 2 day stay in Siem Reap before coming back.

TLDR : Answer Summary
There have been reports of DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) holders facing entry issues at the Poi Pet border when returning to Thailand after a trip to Siem Reap. Several comments highlight experiences of individuals being denied entry despite having valid visas, with recommendations to consider alternative border crossings due to the challenges and potential extortion at this specific point.

I don't think you could pick a WORSE land border in ALL of thailand to cross at than the sh*thole that is the Aranyaprathet/Poipet crossing 😮

Story after story of people denied entry WITH valid visas, told to go back to Siem Reap and fly in, being extorted for cash to get in.

I would say use a different border to enter at IF you can. OR try it and see how it is.

That is NOT a user friendly border by any stretch of the imagination.

A few months ago someone was denied entry there. You can find their story in this group. They ended up going back to Siem Reap and flying to Bangkok
